Meet our team of expert and experienced medical billing professionals. Our team members are well-versed in all aspects of the medical billing process and are dedicated to providing the best services for every client.

After completing a degree in Business Management, Nanette began her journey in medical billing in the early 1990s at a home infusion company.

Starting in data entry, she quickly rose through the ranks to become a Medicare Biller and eventually the Office Manager. Her hands-on experience managing billing and reimbursements showed her the inefficiencies of the industry and sparked her desire to make a difference.

In 1997, Nanette co-founded Priority Medical Billing with her sister, Sherry, with the goal of providing a more effective and customer-focused billing service. Over the last 25+ years, Priority Medical Billing has expanded to serve a variety of healthcare specialties, providing services in multiple states across the US.

Nanette's daily responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day billing, staying updated on insurance regulations, assisting with credentialing, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.

When she is not at work, Nanette enjoys floating in her pool, bird watching, traveling, crafting, and, most of all, spending time with her five grandchildren.

Sherry has a background in Accounting with a focus on Computerized Business Systems. She has been a part of the medical billing industry since 1990.

Like her sister, Nanette, Sherry noticed significant gaps in how many billing companies operated. Motivated to make a difference, she teamed up with Nanette in 1997 to co-found Priority Medical Billing.

Sherry’s hands-on experience spans every part of the billing process, from front-end office work to back-end billing. Her daily duties include managing billing operations, onboarding new providers, overseeing finances, and keeping company policies and procedures up to date.

In her free time, Sherry enjoys training dogs, hiking, and exploring the outdoors with her family.

From a young age, Megan watched Sherry and Nanette build Priority Medical Billing, often working there on and off over the years.

Her passion for health coaching led her to launch her own business in 2019, yet her ties to the medical billing world remained strong. Megan holds a Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) certification, allowing her to make a real impact at Priority Medical Billing.

With a background rooted in both the health and fitness industry, Megan brings a unique blend of expertise and passion to her role as a Medical Billing Specialist.

Megan’s day-to-day duties involve managing billing processes, ensuring patient account accuracy, responding to patient inquiries, and investigating any outstanding claims - all with the goal of helping healthcare providers maximize their revenue.

Outside of work, you can find Megan in the gym training for fitness challenges. She also loves exploring nature, savoring delicious foods, nurturing her houseplants, and connecting with her community through various events.
